Maker's Mark Los Angeles Dodgers 2025 World Champions Selection is a cask-strength Private Selection wheated bourbon hand-picked by the Dodgers organization, bottled at 111.1 proof and dipped in a striking Dodger Blue wax in place of the brand's iconic red.
Please note: Maker's Mark bottles are hand-dipped in wax, and each bottle's wax seal is unique. Slight variations in the wax dripping pattern, coverage, and appearance are natural characteristics of the hand-dipping process and are not defects.
When Bill Samuels Sr. created Maker's Mark in 1953, he burned his family's 170-year-old recipe to craft a softer, sweeter, wheated bourbon, and his wife Margie Samuels later conceived the brand's iconic bottle, label, and dripping red wax seal. It is a rare occasion for the distillery to alter Margie's signature red wax, but honoring the 2025 World Series Champions called for a special tribute, replacing the classic red with a Dodger Blue wax dip. Hand-selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers, this Private Selection release finishes fully matured cask-strength Maker's Mark in a single barrel using a custom combination of 10 wood staves, resting in the distillery's limestone cellar to create a bespoke flavor profile. The Dodgers' 10-stave recipe (3 Baked American Pure 2, 5 Seared French Cuvée, 1 Maker's Mark 46, and 1 Toasted French Spice) leans into a creamy, richly spiced palate.
